Another two months have gone by since my last journal... what a yapper I am eh!

I am almost finished my entry for the Think Pink contest... just waiting for my feathers too arrive. I'm trying hard not to panic, at least until Thursday/Friday. Then I'll panic...

I've done a complete flip/flop on my design for the Legendary Tutorial contest, which means I'm starting all over. But it'll be cool and it's more of what I feel like doing right at the moment. When she's done, I plan on finishing up with the little bits for Amelia, and then put her in either the salesroom or ebay.

Nicole has her new head of hair & face...



I still need to cut & curl her hair.


I've also been working on another girl, Amelia...





I'm in the process of making her a mask & a lantern, then it's boots & a stand. She will probably end up on ebay whenever she gets done.

Here's some pics of my latest project. She is far from done though, but I'm proud of the biker jacket I just made for her!







It's a replica of the one I have, less all the studs mine has. I made it with the new sewing machine I just got for my birthday... omg this machine is so cool! I've never used one before that actually worked properly.

Her hair now needs to be yanked out & replaced with dark brown/mahogany and then her face wiped off and redone. Also need to add some spikes and stuff to her outfit. My son is suppose to make her some weapons.

I am super impressed with it and so wanna make a dragonscale type armor with it!  After I finish up on Faith & the road warrior gal I'm working on.

I finished the dragonscale chainmaille belt I was working on for Faith... and it doesn't suit her.  So into the bin for another doll it goes.  I also finished her bow, but it has too much of a curve on it so I need to tweak that.  Her stand is almost done.  I'm hoping that by next weekend I'll be able to take her final pictures and then get her on ebay.

I'm also working on a road-warrior themed girl for my son.  She's got a jakks body with a barbie head.  Right now I'm chainmailler her top, then I got to figure out how to make a biker jacket for her.  She's also gonna need a reroot, so she's gonna take me awhile to finish.

I'm not gonna get much accomplished today though as I'm sporting a bad hangover and a serious case of the head spins.  Note to self... beware of neighbor's home brew on an empty stomach.

Ok... I know I said Faith was finished way back in September when I entered her into the Think Pink contest.  I was going to finish up her stand and then list her on ebay as she was... but I just couldn't

I had more that I planned to do with her, and I just couldn't let that go.  You know, details.  The things that I enjoy doing the most.  She was suppose to have a bow that was partially carved from bone, and 5 arrows with the arrowheads carved from bone as well.  Plus I had a unique quiver almost finished where each arrow had it's own spot and was labeled.... so that each arrow represented strength, courage, love, hope, and believe.   I also wanted to make her some sort of belt.

Well... her arrows are now all done.  Her bow is just needing a little paint & to be strung.  Her quiver is done.  I've gotten about 50% of the belt done (it's a dragonscale weave chainmaille that is just so cool!).  Then I'll finish her stand.

I'm so glad I didn't just settle.  It makes me feel so much better about her!

It took me long enough... but he is finally done, and the owner to be adores his pictures *does happy dance*




I am so proud of his accessories!  The spearhead and knife is carved out of actual bone, the calumet is carved from wood... and everything is wrapped with strips of leather & decorated with shells & feathers.




Just like Litonya, I made 2 cloaks for Takoda too....
